A sequence of headshots of various esk, strange little nature spirits that are vaguely canid or cervid. From left to right:
Lillium. They have an owlish face and an enormous copper-gold mane, with little forget-me-nots entwined in it. Forming a collar at her neck are the leaves of her orchid, staggered outward from its bloom.
Senna. She’s a scrappy critter with her back turned to the viewer, but she side-eyes the camera over her large tumbleweed collar. Desert senna is arranged at the top and bottom of the composition; three v-shaped seedpods frame her head, while a bloom and some leaves embellish the bottom.
Asa. Her body is like pressed paper, gathered around her head and neck like a shawl. She has desert marigold hanging from her “ears” like earrings, and pressed in some places to her “shawl.” A series of old oracle cards frame her in a semi-circle.
The Warden. She’s a coyote or wolf-like esk with a sharp, mask-like face, embellished in red and gold. Arranged around her are pomegranate flowers, with a few leaves staggered over one another in an alternating weave pattern.]
