It’s common knowledge that pakaquoia do not outlive their wearer. Some may come from masks that have not been put to rest or disposed of properly, but the death of the mask always precedes its wearer.

And yet there are those who leave lasting impressions on the memory of the world, who seem to haunt this place beyond their allotted years. Ghosts of ghosts; masks without faces.
