I’ve had a fraught relationship with this piece from the moment I made it, haha… I liked the visuals and consistently disliked the text, no matter how many times I revised it. Asthaom has always been something you can only describe in short metaphor or exhausting paragraphs. So, I decided to rip out the text and let the visuals stand alone as their own weird, partially-empty drawing. If nothing else, it’s fun to see Lex, Sentin, and Roan’s earlier designs.
[Long description:
A chart depicting the circumstances of Saint Lex’s death, and how her heart, mind, and body were scattered to the four winds. The text has been removed, however. In the top of the chart, a mortal Sentin stands next to a tapestry with the likeness of Lex. In the bottom half of the chart, Roan and the god Sentin flank Lex’s Bleeding Heart, at the summit of Scaiuq.]
